How we measure

A scheduled Lambda (FiscalCustos) runs daily at 03:00 BRT, queries AWS Cost Explorer with daily granularity grouped by service, persists to a dedicated DynamoDB table, and the site reads from there.

USD→BRL conversion uses the Brazilian Central Bank PTAX selling rate (SGS series 1) for the day. The factor is recorded together with the snapshot — auditable after the fact.

FiscalCustos itself costs about USD 0.30/month to run (Cost Explorer charges USD 0.01 per call).
